NY Ice Productions is a startup entertainment company that produces elaborate traveling ice show performances. Their shows feature flashy themes, sequin and glitter-covered costumes, and beautifully handmade props and sets. They use plastic ice to travel and perform anywhere at any time.

Logo System
To allow the identity system to be flexible, various lockups of their logo were created; the primary logo, secondary logo, spotlight logo, and wordmark.
PRIMARY LOGO
The primary logo includes every element of the identity; “NY”, stars, hand-lettered Ice, and Productions spelled out. This is used for applications that are wide enough to accommodate this size.
SECONDARY & SPOTLIGHT LOGOS
The secondary and spotlight logos are very similar. Both are slightly different arrangements from the primary logo but include an abbreviation of Productions. The Spotlight Logo looks like the secondary logo has been featured under a spotlight.
WORDMARK
The wordmark is the name set in the typeface Filson Soft, with stars placed at the beginning.
Typography & Colors
Filson Soft was the typeface chosen to accompany the NY Ice Productions logo system due to the friendliness created by rounded letterforms and overly-curved legs and tails on the J, K, R, and Q. The color system for NY Ice Productions is divided into two sections, primary colors including metallic gold, and secondary supporting colors. The primary colors Salmon, Powder Blue, and Gold are used most. When additional colors are needed, the secondary pallet can be used and includes a variety of cooler-toned colors including Tundra, Steely Blue, Slate, and Black.
Aditional Assets
One of the elements in the logo that was constant was the stars. We proposed using the stars outside of the logos in different ways to expand the brand identity without creating custom assets every time.
